Exclusive Interview from the Unofficial Brittany Snow Page
Interview 2
From Becca:
What kind of music do you like, and where do you like shopping?
Everything! I love Linkin Park, and Switchfoot, Britney Spears, Jason Mraz,
John Mayer, Bob Marley, Nelly, Ashanti, Stacy Orrico and Michelle Branch. I
shop in different stores when I have the time. When I go to NY I love to go
to H & M and I like Forever 21.. The clothes are nice and not too expensive.
From Gail:
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
Passionate, complex and Bubbly.
From Andy:
I heard you singing on the “American Dreams” soundtrack
and read that you love singing and dancing. Will this lead to you ever trying
to put out an album of your own?
Yes, I would love to. Acting is my first passion but I would definitely love
to later once I heave a bit of a name.
From Richard:
What do you love about the 60’s? And what’s your favorite recording
artist or group during that period?
I love the cars and designs, the color and detail and spirit. I would have to
say I love the Beach Boys and Martha and the Vandellas.
From Mark:
Brittany, as American Dreams moves into the late sixties I am curious
if your character will start experimenting with drugs and getting into the psychodelic
music of the times. After all the Doors as well as many other bands of this
genre appeared on Bandstand. Or will you remain the straight character, the
icon of sensibility and let you pal Roxanne illustrate this element of the sixties
culture?
Very nice question! I rally believe that Patty might become the hippie but I’m
not sure. My character will be going into the civil rights and free speech etc.
You will see as we start the next season that I get more involved with issues
that are more important to the college students in the mid- 60’s.
From Aurelie:
What are your idols? Have you ever been to France?
My grandparents, my parents, and my friends are my idols. Yes, I have been to
France when I was about 10 yrs old. I went to Monte Carolo with my parents and
had great time. It was very beautiful!
From Laura:
Hi Brittany! I wanted to know, how do you feel about the 60’s
era? Do you like the music, the fashions, etc?
I love the 60’s.. the songs, dances and clothes are all so different but fun. I think they are all coming back now in some way in our fashions and also songs.
From Suzi:
How did you like working with Beth Ehlers?
I Loved Her! She was definitely an inspiration tome and taught me so much about
acting, strength and having fun at the same time. She was like my aunt and I
love her dearly.
From JP:
What is it like knowing that you life has touched so many other people’s
lives?
I really haven’t thought about that. I am very honored though and hoping
I have touched people in a positive way. I am very , very lucky to do what I
do and I can only hope that the acting I do can reach out to others. All I can
do is stay true to myself, act my heart out and do what I can.
From Audrey:
Do you feel weird kissing a guy on the show that is like 10 yrs older
than you?( Luke)
I really do forget that he is older than I am. He is a great friend of mine
and I can’t tell you how much fun we have together. When I kiss him it’s
no big deal because I know him so well.
From Brittney:
Has there been a scene in American Dreams that was really uncomfortable
for you to do? Was there a scene you were really worried about doing, or embarrassed
to do?
Probably when Luke/Jamie had to unhook my bra when making out. Just the thought
was weird and embarrassing with 30 men and women ( the crew) watching me. Jamie
was great about it!
From Tanya:
First of all, congratulations on the success of American Dreams. It’s
taken over the slot as my very favorite show of all time and I think your performance
is always wonderful. I have to know who your favorite fashion designer and makeup
artists are.
I love BCBG, Tommy Hilfiger and Guess right now.
My favorite makeup is Mac, Benefit, Stila, Bobbi Brown and Revlon has some great
products as well.
From Otto:
What are your Favorite TV Shows?
I love the Real World, Punked and of course American Dreams. I did watch “Who
Wants to Marry My Dad”.. I really enjoyed that one too for some reason.
From Stephanie:
Do you think JJ is Hot and do you like everyone the show. (Patty)
Since JJ ( Will Estes) is the brother it is hard to say if I think he is Hot.
We are good friends and will be presenting together at the Creative Emmys. But
I do think he is so cute, sweet, talented and down to earth.. so a perfect guy.
HeHe…
From Andy Jacklin:
Being 17 years old and in your final year of school. I was wondering
what colleges have you applied to? Are you particular to any of your choices?
I love you on American Dreams.
I don’t know yet. I really want to go to college but it will depend on
how the show does. I am taking a dual enrollment class this year from University
of Florida so I can start earning college credits.
From Mary:
How has instant stardom from “American Dreams” affected
your personal/family life?
I had to move from Florida which was a huge change. My friends and are still
close but it was difficult with the new crazy schedule and pressures of being
in the public eye in some ways. My famly and I are still great but it is very
different and hard.
From Andy:
What made you become a such a strong supporter of the Candies Foundation?
I really believe in waiting to have sex and living your life fully. A child
is a beautiful thing but it should be something a couple is ready for. If you're
a teen and you should have fun and wait.
From Anonymous:
Do you receive fan mail and if so where can I send mail to?
We have not been receiving fan mail. Ever since Sept 11 and also the Anthrax
scare NBC and others are very careful about safety. If they even see a questionable
email on the internet they get the police involved. But, if you want to send
a letter you can send it to American Dreams. I am hoping they will start giving
us the mail soon. If you want a signed picture you have to send a self-addressed
stamped envelope. It goes so much faster for me to sign a picture and send it
out that way.
